but only on ZM servers ( I play on ZM Server 1). I haven´t had this problem on other servers.
( As i remember, i have same problem with non-STEAM CS:S and with STEAM too. I Can't say - on the same server or different. Need re-check. But i've read - people have same problem with legal STEAM CS:S too.)BTW, Filip_CZE, what about sounds ? You added it to CS:S ?
( It's may be a reason :
"It seems to happen more either when there are lots of sounds going on or lots of polys on the screen" )
I found several solutions (
Google search).
:!: Before try it, recommend make system backup.
For Windows WP, For example, with system program "ntbackup"
( C:\windows\system32\ntbackup.exe, use Extenden mode -> ASR Wizard )
1. I saw the versions that is a problem with DirectX. Try reinstall it.
And reinstall / update drivers for video card.
This method helped some people.
+ " Try to lower the resolution." and " I lowered some of my settings (I had anti-aliasing on) and now it loads all right. "
2. Look here -
sourceOne of way to solve : "Alastair 10-04-2007, 04:51 PM"
But it's like "method 1" + config changes.
Quote:
1. Cleaned my drivers and installed the latest from Nvidia
2. Added to steam quicklaunch for FF: -w 800 -h 600 +exec autoexec.cfg -dxlevel 70 -noforcemspd -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -heapsize 262144
That line set my resolution to 800x600, makes autoexec.cfg run, set DirectX level to 7.0, did some mouse stuff, and made my heapsize half of my ram (I have 512MB).
Hmmm, they ALL have NVIdia video card . And most of those who wrote about HL2.exe error 6025 - NVidia video card + Windows XP. Only 1 was Vista + ATI .
What system You have ?
